Pat Marohn
B.F.A.

While growing up in Albany, New York, Pat Marohn showed an early love for the making of art. That interest was nourished by her family and the Albany Museum of Art's Saturday children's art classes.

After attending Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University. Later she continued her studies at the University of Arizona College of Fine Arts as a graduate student in painting.

Pat is a signature member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild; a member of the Arizona Watercolor Society, Phoenix, AZ; the Santa Cruz Valley Art Association, an associate member of the Tucson Drawing Studio, Inc. and an honorary member of the Collage Association of Southern Arizona. She is an exhibiting artist in the Otero Gallery, Tubac, AZ.

Pat was an associate teacher in painting for Pima College, has acted as juror for numerous shows and has served as a grants panelist for the Arizona Commission on the Arts and for the Tucson/Pima Arts Council. Presently she is on the faculty of the The Drawing Studio. Recently retired after twelve years as the director of the Tubac Center of the Arts, she has re-entered the art world as a working artist. Her appreciation for the visual arts spans all persuasions. In her teachings she encourages personal creativity and expressions on all levels.
