Pat
Marohn

While growing up in Albany, New York, Pat Marohn showed
an early love for the making of art. That interest was nourished by
her family and the Albany Museum of Art's Saturday children's art
classes.
After attending Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, she
earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University. Later
she continued her studies at the University of Arizona College of
Fine Arts as a graduate student in painting.
Pat is a signature member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor
Guild; a member of the Arizona Watercolor Society, Phoenix, AZ; the
Santa Cruz Valley Art Association, an associate member of the Tucson
Drawing Studio, Inc. and an honorary member of the Collage Association
of Southern Arizona. She is an exhibiting artist in the Otero Gallery,
Tubac, AZ.
Pat was an associate teacher in painting for Pima College,
has acted as juror for numerous shows and has served as a grants panelist
for the Arizona Commission on the Arts and for the Tucson/Pima Arts
Council. Presently she is on the faculty of the The Drawing Studio.
Recently retired after twelve years as the director of the Tubac Center
of the Arts, she has re-entered the art world as a working artist.
Her appreciation for the visual arts spans all persuasions. In her
teachings she encourages personal creativity and expressions on all
levels.
