About the Juror:

Laura Moriarty is a painter, sculptor and printmaker who has been honored with two Pollock‐ Krasner Foundation Grants, along with grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Crafts Alliance of New York State. She has participated in many guest lectures and residencies nationally and internationally. Her works are included in the collections of the New York Public Library, The Progressive Art Collection, Cleveland, Ohio and the Flemish Ministry of Culture, Antwerp, Belgium. Laura is Director of Exhibitions and Workshops at R&F Handmade Paints. She lives and works in the Hudson Valley Region of New York.

Youth photos and drawings produced over three years (2008–2011) through Southeastern Arizona Arts in Academics (SAAA), an arts integration project of Arts for the Border Children.

Hoopleville Comics

Artist David Kish, creator of Hoopleville Comics (which appears locally in the Tucson Weekly) and a teaching artist in the TDS Art of Summer, will exhibit a collection of his satirical drawings and comic illustrations.

Fundamental Skills

This informal exhibit will provide an opportunity see new student work from Drawing Fundamentals 1 & 2 as well as examples from our new Drawing Fundamentals 3 courses: Color and Composition.
