Hallmark Cards, has also worked in interior design.
Emilia Arana, M.A. art history, The Univ. of AZ: has
taught Mexican, modern and medieval art history. Teaches
abstract painting, and exhibits locally at Conrad Wilde Gallery.

Sherry Bryant has studied, drawn, and painted wildlife
all her life. A award-winning Signature member of the
Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild (SAWG), her work
has appeared shows throughout Arizona, California, and
Nevada.
Mariana Carreras, BFA, MFA, George Washington
University: An oil painter who has exhibited in Europe
and Latin America, is Lead Art Faculty at PCC Downtown
Campus, and often lectures at TMA on a variety of topics
related to art.
Jennifer Clarke attended art school in London: an art conservator, oil painter and printmaker; teaches non-toxic printmaking in her studio in Tranekaer, Denmark and is a visiting teaching artist at TDS this fall.
Pat Dolan, BA, MS in Design, Institute of Design, Chicago;
certified Spiritual Director, Tacheria School of Spiritual
Direction; Artist with 25 years’ experience as adjunct faculty
at PCC and Central Arizona College.
Juan Enriquez, BFA, Univ. of AZ: in exhibitions and
collections locally, regionally and nationally; numerous
commissioned paintings.
Betina Fink, BA, MFA: Oil painter exhibiting and in
collections nationally and in Europe. Adult and youth art
educator with over 15 years’ experience. TDS Program
Coordinator and Instructor, Art of Summer. Teaches oil
painting, pastel drawing and color theory at TDS.
Brian Garvey, has extensive experience in comic
illustration for Marvel Comics, D.C. Comics, Darkhorse
Comics, and Disney Comics; and in animation for
DreamWorks Studio and Premavision Studios.
Carolyn Gibbs, BFA, Commercial Design, Univ. of AZ:
background in psychology and marketing; open studio
monitor and past TDS Board member, teaches figure drawing
and abstract painting.

Josh Goldberg, BFA, MA, Asian Studies and Art History,
Mich. State: Active Arizona artist and art educator since
1990, exhibiting at UA, Davis Dominguez Gallery, teaches
abstract painting.
Laura Hudson, Lifelong drawer and grad of TDS Certification Program; 26 years a graphic artist at the screen printing business she and her husband own and operate in Amado, AZ.
Susan Johnson, BA, MFA, Art Institute of Chicago: extensive experience teaching figure drawing, painting, and sculpture, including in Italy; represented in many exhibitions and collections, and commissioned works for movies, opera, and public spaces; founder of the All Souls Procession.
Tom Lindell Ph.D., Biochemistry: retired faculty member
from Univ. of AZ Dept. of Molecular and Cellular Biology;
taught bioethics and science and theology courses for
many years; studied printmaking with Andy Rush

Joy Mills, MFA, Univ. of AZ: has specialized in sumi-e
for over 20 years and studied with acclaimed sumi-e
instructors and masters from the US and Japan; taught
regularly at Pima College as well as for the Desert
Museum and the Chinese Cultural Center.
Meredith Milstead, AA, BA, BFA: Univ. of Maryland,
Cleveland Art Institute, Univ. of Arizona; painter, drawer, art
conservation specialist, and drawing teacher.
Lisa Mishler studied media arts and photography; 20-yr
career in interior design; studied with other TDS teachers,
signature member of SAWG, regularly exhibits her work
regionally and nationally.
Paul Mohr, BS: Studies at UA College of Architecture. With
a background in science, he is a figure drawer working
in clay, oil, and graphite. He directs the TDS Open Studio
Figure Drawing Program. Past TDS Board Treasurer and past
President of SAWG.

Michael Moore has done post graduate
work at Montana State University and the
Universities of Arizona and Colorado, receiving
his MFA degree from the University of Arizona
in 1972. His work has been exhibited in
Montana and Arizona, including an exhibit of
charcoal work at The Drawing Studio in 2008.
Michael maintains a regime of figure studies,
and since his retirement as Graphics Director
for an international surgical supply company
he has devoted himself to plein air landscape
drawings both in Arizona and the Northwest,
mostly in the medium of charcoal. His work

Judy Nakari, watercolorist for 30+ years; won many local,
state, and national watercolor competitions; recent focus
on plein-air painting, but also known for flower paintings
and portraits; extensive teaching experience in Colorado,
Arizona, California, and Tuscany, Italy.
Linda Poverman, BFA, Post-Bac Art Education,
University of Arizona: many years teachingart in the public
schools, extended university, working in museums and
managing a gallery; exhibited and in collections in Arizona,
Massachusetts, California and Minnesota.
Tanya Rich is a drawer and painter who teaches youth in summer and after-school programs at TDS and elsewhere; experience with gallery work, printmaking, stained glass, stencils and murals.
