A New Fiscal Year Has BegunAt the beginning of our new fiscal year and on behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I wish to extend our grateful thank you to all the donors who opened their hearts to TDS in continuing its mission. Simply stated, our mission is to offer art education and the experience of art to people of all walks of life and all ages, from teenagers to the elderly. Our donors put the mission into action. As of July 1, we welcome two new board members: Sara Dobbis and Richard Barber. Sara holds a BS degree from Syracuse University and a MA degree from New York University. She brings a range of experience in working for nonprofit organizations. Richard is a retired science teacher, an adjunct teacher at the UA Desert Lab on Tumamoc Hill, and a practicing artist. Finally, we want to thank our retiringbut still very presentBoard members: Midge Angevine, Fred Sanchez, and Herk Rosenzweig. All have worked diligently to guide TDS during important formative years. Midge and Fred are founding board members and most active in our exhibitions program. Herk is a member of the Founders' Circle and an active supporter of our teen program. We appreciate their many years of service to TDS. Bruce
