The mission of The Drawing Studio
is to teach, demonstrate, share, and encourage
the art studio practices from which the skills
of visual intelligence are cultivated by people
at any age or walk of life.Located in Tucson, AZ, The Drawing Studio offers a wide range of adult studio art classes and workshops at all skill levels. We also offer open practice sessions, exhibitions in our TDS Gallery and other venues, an Associates program for fellowship and support, an intensive summer and weekly school-year program for teens, and outreach tutoring for seniors in group housing.

Feature Article: Connecting Seniors to the World or "Why Art at an Advanced Age Matters" Renowned teaching artist Pat Dolan on The Drawing Studio’s outreach program for seniors: “We are not about keeping seniors ‘busy and occupied.’ Rather we target seniors with a serious interest in art and connect them to an intergenerational community of art practice.”
