Art of Summer Travels

For the fifth year The Symphony Women's Association collaborated with The Drawing Studio in displaying the works of TDS Art of Summer students at its Music Building on Fifteenth Street. Bettina Fink of TDS and Sue Kornhaber of TSWA set up the show for the month of September; it featured some musical themes. TSWA has been providing free music scholarships and after-school instruction to children of limited economic means for many years. Art of Summer work also traveled to the main downtown library and to Utterback Magnet Middle School.
